# Mystery Boxes

### Overview

Mystery Boxes are a special loot item that can be found across all four tiers of [Adventure Runs](/play/adventure-runs.md). The tier of run you engage will determine which type of Mystery Box you can find!\

Mystery Boxes are rewards for winning [Encounters](/kollect/encounters.md).

### Mystery Box Tiers

**Tier 1:** Common Mystery Boxes, Rare Mystery Boxes&#x20;

**Tier 2:** Common Mystery Boxes, Rare Mystery Boxes, Epic Mystery Boxes&#x20;

**Tier 3:** Rare Mystery Boxes, Epic Mystery Boxes, Legendary Mystery Boxes&#x20;

**Tier 4:** Epic Mystery Boxes, Legendary Mystery Boxes

### Reward Levels

Within every type of Mystery Box, there are up to **5 levels of rewards** available. Percentage chances increase significantly for equivalent rewards with higher tier Mystery Boxes.

1. Common Rewards
2. Rare Rewards
3. Epic Rewards
4. Legendary Rewards
5. Gold Rewards
